The Salsa is a social dance with Hispanic roots that are seen with several musical influences like Merengue, Mambo, Cha-cha, and  Danzón, - some of these dances maintained their own individuality and some got mixed into "Salsa". Today, by "Salsa" people refer to a mix of Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Puerto Rico. It is a case that many students are finding Salsa fun to dance socially, and it is truly a great club dance that is accessible and constantly evolving.
